Message to Americans in 2008
You cannot help the poor, by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak, by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity, by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up, by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man, by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage, by taking away men's initiative and independence.
You cannot help men permanently, by doing for them what they could and should, do for themselves.
The author? Abraham Lincoln. Let's not forget what has made America great and unique in the world.

Let's make sure the greedy corporate mongers who caused the system to fail and now get to be bailed out with our tax dollars, mow lawns and wash cars for some tax payer every day for the next 30 years!
The system was in place to catch those crazy loans being written, it could not however check the greed of the leaders who needed bonuses to be hit...
